dishwasher issue - top part (wheels) not staying on track

WHY does this happen? the left side won't stay on the track at all. everything appears to be in working order. any ideas? quick fixes?Chat Icon

The top rack is relatively flimsy. My first guess would be that the rack is bent slightly. Try persuading the metal near the wheels a bit. If the wheels come off the track towards the middle of the rack, try bending the rack outwards a bit.
