DISNEY - Spinoff (Important Question! Height REQ for rides?)
My hubby's bummed that my boys are under 40 inches, which is the requirement for MaNY rides (esp the Spiderman ride  )
How strict are they, give or take an inch. Theyre about 37 and 38 inches barefoot (note to self, extra thick soled sneakers  )
but of course we're more concerned of the safety issues if theyre not latched in properly due to being too small ?

I think they're pretty strict because of the liability and honestly I would definitely be concerned with the safety issue.

Super strict. We waited in line with my niece and when we were getting on a ride, they pulled her off to check her height. She passed the height check at the beginning and here they told her she was literally a hair too short and wouldn't let her on. She was 6 years old, BTW. An hour wasted waiting on that line!

We've already accepted the fact that theyre not going on, but I cant remember the rides exactly (that huby mentioned have these reqs) to remember how we were latched in/how fast it was...
But im sure the restrictions are there for a reason..

hmm I don't know, but at Seaworld they were pretty strict so I assume they all are.
DS is 38 1/2" barefoot. So we are in the same boat. I found a couple of sites that tell you the rides with restrictions but I'd like to find something that lists the ones with no restrictions (so we can head right to them).
and none of them mentioned Spiderman - is it that brand new?

no, it's not new, I think I went on it years ago too.. not sure which park, I cant ever get my parks straight
my hubby read on a few sites that many kids have gotten away with it. but of course he wouldnt even chance it if it seemed like a safety issue. I think he said one of them was such a slow easy going ride and he couldnt beleive there was a restriction.

There is no Spiderman ride at Disney World. Maybe you are thinking of Universal?

the spiderman ride is at Islands of Adventure, my hubby was just talking about it..
