There is a site called touring plans and you can use their reservation finder alert to find you your ideal restaurant reservation. I tried my hardest to book Cinderella's table and had no luck until i tried this. Finally after waiting two months, i received the alert and now we are booked while we visit in November.

Do you know about the res finders?
I'm going in September and changed my chef mickey a dozen times already.

Thanks. I wa starting to avaoid paying extra but I may sign up. We don't want a lot of character meals just a few as we went last nov and did a ton lol

It's the same site. But they have a basic subscription that lets you have a search for 2 res finders going. The paid one let's you do more but oh well. This ones free.
Mousedining let's you search for 6 at a time for free.

If I ever go back to Disney, I'm now going to wait until 3 months before to book flights- I just saw on jet blue the same exact flights we are taking in November, went down over $100 pp! So I could have saved over $400... I called Jet blue and they said they charge a $70 per ticket fee to honor the lowest fare so I'm basically getting a credit of $32 per ticket and that goes on your jet blue account to use within a year.. not back on your card... ugh I wish I had waited...

Southwest credits every time flight price changes. That's why for trips booked far in advance like Disney I use them. (Even though I prefer Jetblue or Virgin to fly)
I actually booked 6 months out and still have not seen the prices go to as cheap as I got them.

This is why I don't fly them anymore. Between that, and the bag fees now. Not worth it to me! I would rather fly Southwest...closer, no change fees, travel credit if we cancel, no bag fees. Or we fly Delta with miles, and can change without issue.
