I just re-booked my trip (had to cancel April due to knee injury). We are goign in November. Staying at the Caribbean Beach. They are doing some renovations so they are giving a $75 Gift card for each night. We don't spend enough time in the hotel for it to bother us and its only on food areas.

I went through a travel agent this time so she is takign car of all my dining and fast pass booking.

That's awesome!!

Hi- we are going down to Disney in mid November 2017 (planning around a wedding we will be attending). We will probably have 3 days in Disney, which parks would you recommend for a 5 and 2 year old? I know Magic Kingdom for sure but not sure if we need more than two days there.

Also what type of dining plan, if any would you suggest? I see that they have one for quick service and other sit down.. I am not sure if the sit down included any type of character meals?

I would do 2 days Magic Kingdom and 1 in another park.
Do your kids love animals? There's Animal Kingdom.

Do you plan on doing a lot of character meals? If so, then the Disney Dining Plan might be best option since those get pricey. I would look at allears.net and look at menus and prices and see if it's worth to just pay out of pocket.

i would say 2 days at Magic kingdom... you can take your time a little more that way Chat Icon
the other park depends on what your kids are into-- animal kingdom is neat if they like animals (safari, lion king and memo shows) EPCOT has the new Frozen ride, Nemo ride/ aquarium, and lots of stuff to see in World Showcase. Hollywood studios has Disney junior show, Frozen stage show, little mermaid live show, and the Toy story ride....

and yup! the plan with sit-down meals would include character meals Chat Icon I think the only thing would be the Cinderellas Royal Table uses up 2 of the credits i think?? but we ate a bunch of character meals on the dining plan 2 years ago Chat Icon

I am considering dropping my TRex ADR...heard the food is not so great and sooo loud. Plus I have a lot of TS booked and it will be taking up my TS credit or paying OOP....

Convince me to keep it if you think it's worth it...........

I'm also going to pay oop for cinderellas royal table. Although it's expensive, it's a better value to do it that way than use two table credits.

What dates are you there?

We stayed at the Contemporary a couple of years ago.....we LOVED it bc DD2 at the time was 7 months old and the monorail is right there so it was soooo convenient!

Yeah that's why I wanted to stay there since the kids will be little. Plus we can walk back to the hotel from MK. When the kids get older we'll stay elsewhere, but now with two toddlers it's so much easier.

It's convenient until it breaks down, which seems to happen all the time! We sat on it for about 30 minutes last Summer, and no A/C...sucked! BUT, the good thing about the Contemporary is that you can just walk to the MK and get there faster!

Yeah we wanted it more bc we could walk to MK, not bc of the monorail (why we chose it over Polynesian and grand Floridian)
