Can I ask why you hate Disney? I am just curious.
a few reasons that really are unique to me.
the first time I went I was 15, and I was in a bad place with my family. I hated my father and couldn't stand to be any place near him or to even have fun in his vicinity. it was impossible for me to enjoy myself if I could hear him breathe.
plus, it was August. AUGUST. in Florida. It was disgustingly hot.
and then we didn't really have any money. so we couldn't do any of the extras (truth be told we got to go b/c my parents signed up for one of those time share seminars so certain things were free. but we spent an entire day learning about something we would NEVER EVER buy in to)
But when it comes to you taking Luce there do you get excited???? Edited because I made an A HOLE comment.

Ugh, sorry. Honestly I think I took that same trip when I was 14. I had a horific experience.
Honestly it wasn't until I was an adult and went with friends and eventually DH that changed my mind. Going there with DH has been an experience like no other.
Plus I will never go in August ever again.

We took Jordan when she was 2 years and 9 months. She was OBSESSED with the princesses. She was jumping up and down and yelling when we told her. She kept saying thank you, thank you , thank you! The 1st day there, it was like something out of a movie. We walked into Magic Kingdom and up Main St just as the princesses were starting their show in front of the castle. I WILL NEVER FORGET THE LOOK ON HER FACE! She was in aww. I began to cry because of her reaction and turned to DH and saw a tear roll out from under his sunglasses (Soooo NOT like him). It was PRICELESS!

DS was too young to go apeish but there is no way to describe his look when we went in his first ride... It's a small World!
He was quiet the whole ride. His eyes were about to come out of his head and his mouth was open. It was priceless!!!!!
It's so magical for kids. It's like nothing else they ever saw!

I went to Disney in my late 20s w a group of friends and I could not believe how apeshit people of ALL ages went... Especially when they fist open the gates and the crowds all start running like madmen into the park. I have to admit, the excitement was infectious. It's nice to see people have such a deep love and excitement for an experience/place/theme.
