Disney people! Need help- pricing and right resort for us...?
Hi everyone! 1) What's the cheapest time to go to Disney? (I'm guessing all resorts during that time period are cheaper?)
2) My DD cannot sleep if we're within her sight. I don't think that we need a separate bedroom...but are there any resorts (on property) that have a divided space? If not, which ones have the best 1 bedroom?
Thanks!!!

Early January right after everyone goes back to school is inexpensive. If you google Disney value season it will give you the 2015 dates that are the least expensive.
As for divided space - I do not know of any type of divided space that is not either a suite, or a DVC one bedroom unit. Best is relative. It depends on what it important to you. If being on the monorail is important - than Contemporary, the Poly or the Grand Floridian. If immersing yourself in Disney is important - the suites at Art of Animation are fabulous. If you want a kick butt pool, go for Port Orleans French Quarter or Beach Club.

I think the grid on this site answers the price question. http://yourfirstvisit.net/2013/12/08/2015-weeks-to-visit-walt-disney-world-ranked-in-order/ Can't answer room question.

I would look into renting points from a DVC member and getting a 1 bedroom suite. It's the cheapest way to get a suite on property.
The Art of Animation and All Star Movies resorts have "value" suites, but they are still over $300 a night, and you still have value beds, value toilet paper, linens and toiletries (or lack thereof).

We just came back from Disney a few weeks ago and we stayed at the Art of Animation in the Cars suite. It definitely wasn't $300 a night! I don't remember the exact number but it was under $175. And all of the amenities are the same as the other resorts. You don't get cheaper toliet paper because you're paying less for your room.
I would highly recommend AoA. My kids loved it and my husband and I were very happy with it as well.
