They have to be up to date with all their immunizations.

Re: Do all daycares require children to be on schedule with vaccinations?
From what I remember speaking with the Director at the daycare the baby has to just be update with the vaccines. My baby will be about 4 mons so whatever vaccines is supposed to have I have to bring the sheet the Doc gave me with the info or have the Doc fill out the daycares sheet that the baby is where he/she is supposed to be at. Hope that makes sense.

I am a NYS registed in-home family daycare provider and we are required to keep immunization paperwork that must be up to date in each childs file...It is actually one of the first things that my licensor checks during inspection...We are not allowed within our regulations to enroll or keep a child in care without them...not sure how it differs for centers, if at all

Yes, I believe its a NYS law. I just had to get an updated schedule from my doctor to give to them.

Re: Do all daycares require children to be on schedule with vaccinations?
I am in NJ and we just got a note in our cubby at DS daycare that he was behind on his MMR (he was sick at 15 months so I just got him his MMR shot during his 18 month visit) The note said if he didn't have the shot by April 10, he would not be able to attend the daycare. So yeah, they definitely require it.
