Does anyone have any children with "Middle Child Syndrome?"

My middle son is so difficult sometimes - he just makes it so hard. He fights, he's jealous and he's soooo competitive with his siblings. It's so constant with him - he's just intense. Has anyone else gone through this?

My brother is totally like this.

My mom even said that as a mother she had hte ability/right to wish on us the type of child we were but she said me and the oldest were too easy so just for fun she wished we all had 1 child just like my middle brother but on my middle brother she wished 10 of himself!!!!!

Anyway, he was the difficult kid. No advice but I will say that now at nearly 40 he isnt as difficult but ask him about being the middle child and he will tell you how he got not attention and blah blah blah (its all a lie though- he got more attention than anyone!!)
