Do any of you remember how much weight you lost by the time you got home from the hospital ?
I can't for the life of me remember with DS...I'm 36 weeks now and for a couple of weeks my weight had stayed relatively unchanged...this week is another story  ...I've already gained more than I should have ( I was on IF meds before we conceived, so I had extra pounds to begin with)...I'm looking at the sweatsuits I packed to come home from the hospital in and hoping that my belly will be down enough to wear them !...I think I'm retaining water now ( or at least hoping thats all it is) , so I'm trying to concentrate on drinking more..Does anyone recall how much they lost after delivering ? I'm having a c-section at 39 weeks

I delivered on Monday, and went home on Thursday.... I lost around 15lbs by the time I was sent home.

DD#1- not sure by the time i got home from the hospital, but i lost 25lbs in the first week (gained 50)
with DS i lost 15lbs the first week and had to work the rest off (gained 38lb)

I was the exact same weight the day I left the hospital but I had alot of swelling issues. also put on @ 60lbs with the pregnancy A week later I was 25lbs lighter (and haven't lost a friggen pound since )

ETA: I gained around 30lbs during my PG, and have lost it all since then.  Stress does wonders for my weight!

I think I was down 15lbs. when I got home and 25lbs. down two weeks later. I was down almost 35lbs. 3 months after giving birth and back to my pre-pregnancy weight...thanks to BF.

Same for me here except 3 months I weighed less then pre pregnancy. I was overweight to start & gained very little weight during the pregnancy.

I was hoping for 15-18lbs, but I think I was only down about 10-11lbs.

8 lbs by the time I left the hospital. DS weighted 7 lbs 14 oz. I had gained 24 lbs during the pg. It took me 10 weeks to loose it all.

I lost about 20, which was more than I had gained! I was overweight pre-pregnancy though.

Exactly the same as when I went in!  But in all fairness I was really swollen from all the IV fluids I got plus I was released 36hrs after I delivered. 2 wks later I had lost 30lbs though.

I think I had lost about 18-20 lbs by 1 week pp. I gained 29 pounds so that was most of it. Now I'm 11 weeks pp and only have 5 lbs left.

I had DS at 40 weeks exactly via c/s...I had gained 50lbs...lost about 20 in the 3 day hospital stay (to be fair though DS was almost 10lbs)..by 2 weeks I had lost 30 total....the last 20 took alot longer though!

I gained 50lbs and I think I lost between 25-30 in the hospital, but I got sick while I was there which is why I lost so much (and I had a large baby).
It took me 10 months to lose that last 20lbs.

Wow it really varies !!!....My DS was just shy of 10 lbs when he was born and supposedly this DC is also on the big side- but for whatever reason I am stumped what my weight loss was with DS...I look at pictures and know I still had a pg. belly ( but not anything like it was when DS was still in there- LOL) after we got home...With both pg's I was/am all belly....I'm only 5-2 so I look pretty comical , and although I seem to be gaining at about the same rate as I did with my first pregnancy, the # on the scale is  because I started off 10 lbs heavier in the 1st place this time ...I just keep saying...it will go away, it will go away....

um...all I lost was the weight of the baby (7 lbs) by the time I got home. I was so annoyed!!! But I managed to lose the last 40 in the following 8 weeks.

I went to the hospital on Tuesday night, delivered Wednesday night, and came home Friday morning. Somehow, I gained 4 pounds by Saturday.
I was pumped full of Pitocin and and IV though, I think maybe I had retained water.

I gained 17 lbs with my pg. I lost 15 by the time I left the hospital and lost another 12 within the next few days.
So I gained 17 but lost 27 total! I now weigh less than I did when I got pg.
