Do colicky babies sleep at all at night???
DS is so crabby during the night time hours. However, I am not sure if its colicky behavior because I can usually shut him up with a binky.
The only thing is is that he wont sleep well at all.
How long do babies with colic usually have crying episodes before finally settling down?

Re: Do colicky babies sleep at all at night???
i could be wrong but i THINK that in order for it to be colic they have to cry every day for an extended period of time-could be up to 3 hrs or so? and more...it's like you can almost count on it. DD was colicky-don't know if it was officially colic. she would cry EVERY night from 7pm and on. usually for a few hours. she would eventually settle down and sleep for a little. but i BF and fed like every 2 hrs in the beginning so i don't know! good luck! those first few weeks are the toughest! i am expecting baby #2 soon and am really dreading the early days! it goes fast though!

The general guideline for colic, which my son had, is crying for:
3 or more days, for 3 or more hours for 3 weeks or longer.
Good luck, colic is NO fun!!!
