Do evap lines show up during the normal wait time?

So, I tested twice today with a CVS Early Result test. Neither of them with FMU. The first time, nothing showed up that I could see within the normal time range.

The second time, I saw a very very thin line about 30 seconds or so into the normal testing time.

Could these be evap lines or the real deal?

ETA: I took them down.

Re: Do evap lines show up during the normal wait time?

From my understanding only internet cheapies / blue dye tests have evap lines.

If it came up in the normal timr frame and was a CVS test then I do not think it would be evap

I noticed that internet cheapies have 2 thin colorless lines, like where the test line would be. Could it be that? Hope it's a true BFP!

but sometimes the digitals arent as sensitive as the lines so if she uses a digital now she may get a BFN., I think.

Re: Do evap lines show up during the normal wait time?

i wouldn't use a digital unless you're at least 11-12 dpo. my digital was negative at 10dpo even though i got a positive on an FRER.

hope this is it for you!

I didn't know how many DPO she was, I agree if she using this early then yes it may come up negative. I always use the digital 2 days before I am due. when i tested this month i tested four days before I was due.

Sorry, I had to run out for a minute.

I believe I am 8 or 9 DPO.

The CVS test had a blue control line, is that a blue dye test?

I'll try to take a picture of them later.

I hope it's not the case for you but blue dye tests are known for showing extra lines that look like they may be BFP's but aren't. I have it it happen to me mutiple times. It's looks like a hairline line in the spot where the test line should be.

I can't really tell from the pics, but I can tell you that I have gotten an evap line on a blue dye test before. It was very thin and I think it showed up at the end of the time window. Hope you have better luck! I would test again tomorrowChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Thanks! I keep staring at them, and I see a faint faint line on the top picture- but I don't know if its my eyes playing tricks on me. I'm gonna test again tomorrow with FMU. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

blue dye tests have been known to give wacky results, esp. the CVS ones.
i dont see anything in the pic but 8-9 DPO is WAYYYYYYY too early. especially if you arent using a FRER.
good luck!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
