Do I drop a bottle?

John will 11 months on the 19th. He has 4 bottles, four hours a part ( about 6 ounces each) and a bottle in the middle of the night mostly 4 ounces. He also eats three meals a day. His schedule is sort of like ths:

7:30am - 8am wake up, bottle.
9-9:30 - breakfast.
11:30-12n - bottle.
1-1:30ish - lunch
3:30-4pm - bottle
5:30ish dinner
7:30 - 8pm - bottle before bed.
will wake up for a bottle during the ngiht but, not always.

Re: Do I drop a bottle?

sounds exactly what I do for DD (minus the night bottle) and she's 11 months.

I was wondering the same thing, but I can't figure out which one to drop.

Re: Do I drop a bottle?

I think at 11 months Charlie was down to 3 8oz bottles. He was showing no interest in daytime bottles so I went to one at 3pm.

Re: Do I drop a bottle?

My son was just 11 months last week and we just dropped him from 4 bottles to 3. And one of those (the night one) hes been taking in a sippy cup. My goal is to get those last 3 bottles into cups by his 1st birthday and then switch him to milk then.

Re: Do I drop a bottle?

I dropped the afternoon ones first. Now at 15 months we do morning and before bed.
Just our schedule though not something a dr told me- it just worked for us-he likes an afternoon snack though around 3:30 or so instead of a bottle.
Oh BTW all are actually sippy cups -we dropped the actual bottle at 10 months-I was determined to get him on the straw cups! (Just easier for me)
