Do injectables follow the same schedule as clomid?

Meaning when I did clomid I started during my period-Is this the same for injectables?

Currently I am seeing if I will O on my own-(sometimes I do and sometimes I don't)

We were on our own this month since Cornell was closed. I am trying to see when I should call me RE again to get the injectable cycle moving

Probably not. I never did an IUI with injectables, just an IVF. But, on clomid there is not much chance of hyperstimulating or producing more eggs than they are comfortable with you have. With injectables, there is daily monitoring, bloodwork and sonos.

But you do normally start on CD 3 as you do with Clomid.

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking.

Are you asking about when you'd start? Or about how the actual cycle goes in terms of monitoring and appointments?

I have started on CD 1 for one cycle and CD 2 for another.

For the first cycle, I had a baseline ultrasound first.

CD 1 - started meds
CD 4 - bloodwork
CD 5 - bloodwork and ultrasound
CD 8 - bloodwork and ultrasound
CD 11 - bloodwork and ultrasound
CD 13 - bloodwork and ultrasound
CD 14 - trigger in AM
CD 15 - IUI
CD 29 - beta

Second cycle (injectables + IUI converted to IVF):

CD 1 - AF
CD 2 - baseline u/s, started meds
CD 6 - bloodwork and ultrasound
CD 9 - bloodwork and ultrasound
-converted to IVF at that point.

With Clomid I always started the meds on CD5 - 9, with injectables I always start on CD3 through trigger.

When I did injections, I started on CD3 but stimmed for a much shorter time. My follicles grew very fast with injections.

I never did an IUI w/injectibles, but when I did my IVFs, I always started the stim portion of the cycle on CD3.

I always started on CD3 and with injectables I was monitored more closely, I was at the doctors office at least 3 times a week.

I have always started my injectables on CD3. I have had 5 IUIs with injectables. If you have any questions, feel free to FM. I'm more of a pro at this than I ever wanted to be.

Clomid is just taken for 5-7 days starting around CD5...injectables start on CD3 and run straight through until you are given trigger - anywhere from 8-12 days.
