Do students give teachers gifts
at the end of the school year? I was thinking of giving my son's prek teacher some flowers but not sure if that's lame. Do kids bring gifts and if so ideas?

sometimes. i got gorgeous sunflowers from one of my students last year and i thought that was the nicest gift - got so many compliments on them on the way out that day.

Again...some do. DS's teacher was awesome this year and she loves Starbucks so he wants to get her a gc.
Last year one of my 9th graders brought me a bouquet of flowers and a card that said I made her love math. That meant more to me than anything else I could've possibly gotten.

We get a lot of them buying gift cards for teachers. I think in elem at least the class collects money to give one from all of them.
