Do they tell you when they are taking the hospital pictures??

So you know those cheesy pictures they take of your baby in the hospital? When do they do those? Do they tell you in advance so you can put on a special outfit?

They will give you a form to fill out and the form will have all that info.

I think they tell you in advance so you can have a cute outfit...but also so you can pay them upfront-they charge extra I believe.

Do you put on a special outfit for those or is it just pointless?

For me, they came from room to room and asked us if we wanted our DC's pic taken. They took DS out of the nursery to take his pic and I only had to pay for whatever pictures, packages, etc. I wanted.

I never had those hospital pics taken of my kids. they always look weird and I took over 1000 pics during labor and while in the hospital alone! lol

I've never heard of anyone dressing the baby up for the pics.

they go room to room....and they take them in their hospital onesie. let me tell you, we thought they were the CUTEST pictures we had ever seen....now i look at them and i laugh bc they look like baby mugshots! i'm sure we'll be roped again though with this little one....can't do something for one and not the other! oh and they charge you for whatever packages you order.

I had DS this past August at St Catherines..they actually took the pic in the room. It was a digital camera and we got to pic which pic we wanted. As far as newborn pics go his is really pretty good. We could have put him in an outfit but we thought that took away from the traditional hospital pic thing....The whole package was like $50..a waste in one sense b/c we didnt really give them out or anything. But you only have one shot at the "hospital pic" so we didnt want to NOT get it.
