Do we have the only child...
Who does not wake up happy?
I read all these posts about everyone's DC who wakes up in their crib and quietly and happily plays for 10, 20, 30 minutes.
We have the one child who wakes up in the morning crying and will continue to cry until you go in and get him.
Just wondering if we are the only ones???

DS kind of sulks for half an hour or so when he wakes up (he's 5.5). DD (2.5) is also not a morning person. Both of them usually have frowns on their faces until they fully wake up.
That's when I like to poke and tease them until they smile.....

I would say Logan's about 50/50.
Half the time he's immediately up and crying to be taken out of the crib.
The other half he's content to play for a little while, talking to his Rexie and Blue Bear.

Derek wakes up fine in the morning, but after his afternoon nap, he is a beast. It takes so long for him to get back to normal. Sometimes I feel like not even putting him in for the nap.

9 times out of 10 Kaydyn wakes up crying and screaming. Every once in a while she will wake up and babble for a min and then start crying, but pretty much she wakes up crying all the time.

Well, it's nice to know that I'm not the only one!!!!  Yeah, we do get the occasional morning where we wake up to that wonderful happy babbling sound through the monitor, but those mornings are few and far between!

DS used to play in his crib for up to 30 minutes. But now I think he knows that we are nearby so he whines / cries until I get him but then he is all smiles! The minute my kid wakes up he is thinking “Where’s my bottle, woman?”

DS has gone through phases of screaming when he wakes and waking happy. These days he is usually a little grumpy in the morning (just like his mom ) and only wants me. Actually gets upset if dad comes too close too soon 
No worries, its all normal.
