Do you add egg in the ricotta when you make lasagna?

I never have and saw tonight that the recipe on the back of the box says to do this.

Does it make a difference?

i actually made it the other night and forgot and i came out ok, but the cheese didn't set up as well

YES! and parmesan mozzerella and parsley! Its helps it firm when it bakes. Make its not come out runny! HTH

Yes and S&P, garlic, oregano and parsley..sometimes red pepper flakes.

Only one or two eggs at the most depending on how much cheese.

I also use part skim.

I put the ricotta in a bowl and add an egg or two, seasoning and mix together.
