we dont usually "set" a limit but usually we spend no more than $200-$300. that has just kinda become the standard.

we try to keep it within reason, though within reason seems to constantly change.

no limit...but sometimes we don't give each other anything. It just depends on what we want..

well this is our first xmas sharing "our" money since we never lived together before marriage---so i'm not sure what the limit it. i spent about $250 on DH but i don't think i want him spending so much on me...i just happened to get some good deals on things for him this year.
i wouldn't want him this year spending more than $100--since i already spent $$!

We always say don't go crazy and money is tight....I've already spent almost 500 on him this year  and i have one more little thing to buy him. I guess because when we started going out he used to buy more expensive nice stuff for me and i did not have much money so i never spent as much on him but the past couple of years i have been trying to get him things he really wants, stuff he will "buy himself" when he passes his CPA exam. I just tell him i want clothes or a new jacket or not so expensive things.

We have no "set" budget but we are trying to be frugal . I spent about 250 on dh this year

it varies. last year it was $$$$$$$$$$! this year, no where near that.
honestly, we have everything we need (that you can buy in a store). and if there is something we want, we buy it.

We don't buy for each other at Christmas now that we have kids... so our budget is 0 for each other.

We don't come out and state a limit, but it always seems to end up in the $200-250 range.

I think it really just depends on what we want. One year DH got me a DSLR which at the time was $900. Most years it around 300-400, I guess, unless there's something specific. DH normally spends more on me than I spend on him

ditto...we really don't decide on a limit but just tend to buy eachother something small if anything.

we don't go crazy. this yr we had to cut back. we have a black tie wedding at the end of the month that we had to make sure we had money for
