it's not enough to stay with someone....
case in point: I dated someone for 5 years-he cheated on me, lied to me countless times, hit me in drunken rages, terrorized me and teased me unmercifully at times....and I stayed because I loved him (or so I thought at the time).
It was when what small amount of money I had gotten in a car accident settlement ended up going to him over a period of time...$3500 for his drug habit. I had had enough..told my dad about the abuse and the money and that was the end of it.
The j@ck@ss had the nerve to give ME an ultimatum as to whether I wanted to stay with him because there was a girl in his AA meetings that wanted a relationship with him...I said BYE

NO. You need faith, trust, cooperation and the willpower to keep going! Relationships are hard, harder than most people care to accept.
