Do you dress your child in black?

I am seeing more and more black articls of clothing for toddlers and even black dresses for the holidays and while I love them, I can't come to put them on my kids. Part of me thinks its to mature. Am I the only crazy one for thinking like this?

I do. I love the color black.

I do. I like some of the cloths from BRU that has black and animal print on them.

Not often, I'm not a fan of black on little kids. I usually put them in bright colors.

I love black for little girls. I know parents do not think it is appropriate but I love it/

They don't sell many black pants/shirts for my son. I would put him in black too.

I'm with you for the most part. Last year I had a lot of trouble with a xmas dress b/c they were 90% of them black last year for some reason and I though it was too morbid for an infant. Now that she's a toddler and she has a head of hair and more coloring I did buy one shirt that was black b/c I liked the outfit so much and so I guess I've relaxed a little bit. But I do usually prefer to see kids in vibrant colors.

I have a shirt or 2. Pants I would never hesitate and although I never put much thought into it, I did feel weird putting her in a black shirt.

I have one shirt that's black for Jared. My grandmother always said to never dress kids in black...
Times have changed though...

I have a few black things for Taylor, but I always mix it with some color...I love black and her little black pants are precious!

Not often but we have a dog and 2 cats so she'd be covered in hair at home and I can't stand that!

Weird - I fel the same way...I just don't like dressing my kids in black. I feel like they'll have their whole adult life to wear black whereas how much longer can they get away with stripes and pink polka dots?

I have a few black things but I usually dress them in colors.

I have a few things in black and I d on't mind it - I actually like it but I usually dress DD is colors.

i dont dress my son in black at all, dd only has a couple pair of black pants.

Today is the first day they are in a black shirt. Both have funny sayings on them. It's the only black they own.

Oh yes. And we have some very funky black outfits, socks shoes.....

DD has one black shirt but it is size 12 months so she wont be wearing it for awhile. I personally love to wear black and never noticed until this post that Hailey doesn't really have any black clothing.

DS has several black t-shirts, and a few black pants. We don't have any black for DD, though.

I don't like it either. And my mom begs me not to dress her in black, lol! She doesn't ask for much anyway..

I do have a few outfits with black print dogs on them - but the background is red.

Hardly ever. I just don't like it on kids, especially girls. That said, I just bought DD a black turtleneck and tights (for her Halloween costume!). Other than that, not really at all, DS has a pair of black cords and that's it.
