Re: Do you eat deli meat?
I've been trying not too, but I have had it a few times. As far as the preservatives, I believe Boar's Head is preservative free.

Me too. But I buy it from a specific place that I know is reputable and their stuff is always fresh.

Re: Do you eat deli meat?
I have GD so I have to watch the carbs. My nutritionist recommended that I have a sandwich on whole wheat bread as a good option for lunch, and I asked her about the cold cuts and she said as long as you get them from a place that you know it'll be fresh, it's perfectly fine. So I have ham sandwiches quite often. Always boar's head.

Re: Do you eat deli meat?
The only deli meat I have is ham, and I heat it up and make grilled ham & cheese (yum!). The funny thing is I usually hate ham but since my 2nd tri I have been loving it. I also allow myself to "splurge" lol on tuna every 2 weeks.
Are you supposed to avoid these foods after you give birth if you want to BF? I was hoping to have my first meal after baby is born be a tuna sandwich on a bagel
