Do you enjoy going to weddings?
Unless there is a big group of our friends there to sit/party with, weddings are becoming more of a chore than anything else now. Does anyone else not particularly enjoy them? They were a novelty when I went to my first ones, and around my own wedding I loved seeing other ones, but now I just groan when we get another invite for someone we don't know entirely too well. DH has a large group of friends so we get invited to many where we don't know the person entirely too well...Brothers of guys he is friends with who I had never met in the 6 years we were together...

Usually I do. Dont' get me wrong.....there's nothing like going to a close friend or relative's wedding.....b/c you seem to enjoy it so much more. But the last wedding I went to that I wasn't looking forward to, I ended up having a good time. 
ETA: Attending weddings where I barely know the people, not at all. It's hard to enjoy. Ya just gotta load up on the liquor.......LOL

I am desperately trying to make friends with someone who is getting married at Westbury Manor. I want to be a guest there, and not be the bride. LOL
Not a big fan of weddings, no.

I love going to weddings but for people I know! I hate being at a table & not knowing anyone.
On the other hand, DH & I always manage to have a good time & I love seeing what others pick!!!!

Love going to weddings....of course it is much more fun when I am close friends/family with someone...
We had many weddings last year and this year...mostly my friends, but none of dhs good friends are married yet, so I know we have many more to go...

I have not been to a wedding in YEARS! I have been married for 9 years and most of my friends as well. No younger family mambers getting married either.
When I DID go to weddings, I really did enjoy them. I always love seeing new catering halls and I like weddings in general.

I like weddings..don't love them..if it's a really close friend it's good but otherwise it's just ok.
I usually just send a gift to people if I don't know them that well.

I'm not really into them anymore.
But I was just at a wedding that began with the coctail hour, then there was a 10 minute ceremony in the coctail hour room, then we all went in to dinner. It was great having everything in one place and having the ceremony be so short.
