Do you ever feel like you are literally the only person who doesn't have a baby?

I need to stay off facebook and myspace I see everyone I knew from HS or college with their kids...yes multiple KIDS

Just having a really really bad day and night

ETA-When I say this to DH he says "it's not a competition!" And I am not trying to compete just want to know what the HELL when will it be MY turn

There are some sites that I just avoid. This is a wonderful site b/c in addition to support it lets us all know we are not alone.

ETA: Most of my friends also have multiple kids. Any men sometimes say stupid things.

hopeandfaith my dh says the same thing and it drives me crazy,. he says why do u compare its not a competition.. I KNOW its not a competition but when is it my turn?? ive wanted this for so long and am trying everything possible!

At 43 years old yes.. and its been like this for years... My friends kids are in college...

Also I have to add that I met my DH very late in life I was 38 he was 44.. And I wouldn't change that for all the children in the world.. Its was the most perfect timing there is... And I am praying that God has the same perfect timing for this... I promise you I prayed for God to put the perfect man in my life alot longer than I have prayed for a baby.. It took years and years for my Dh to show up than BAM!!!!!! I am talking consitant prayer for 6 years.. I am on my 3rd for this baby and I have to admit it wore me down... I pray we all enjoy our lives while we wait for Gods perfect timing because thats something I am having a hard time doing.. I cant enjoy my life..

yes, it is a terrible, terrible feeling. I look around most days and can cry at any given second. it just seems so unfair.

i want to think my dh understands, but i know deep down it is different for him. he doesnt have to go through the appts, the shots, the sonos, the losses, the surgeries, the pain or the emptiness. It's such a lonely feeling.

Oh, it is so good to know that I am not alone. DH and I hang out with his co-workers last night, and found out that TWO of their girlfriends are pregnant. ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? I was thinking to myself – Am I the only one not getting pregnant?

I feel like this all the time. Yesterday DH ran into a friend he hasn't seen in a few years and he has 3 boys. The guy wasn't even married last time we saw him.

I could have written this word for word (although I'm not 40 yet, but close!) I also met my husband later in life, and 2 out of the just about 3 years we have been married has been us trying to get pregnant. I have absolutely no regrets. I look at the IF journey we went through together and see how much stronger and closer we have become as a couple.

I spend a LOT of time wondering why the one thing in life I have wanted since I was a kid just isn't happening as easily as most other people... Just have to keep praying.
