Do you ever have days where you want to scream and pull your hair out? SAHM especially

DD can just be a tough baby. She's 8 months old, not the greatest sleeper, not the greatest eater and she just wants to be on my hip all day. She ate NOTHING today besides her bottles which is another battle. Then I feel like a terrible mom for feeling like this but all I want to do today is get away by myself

I think everyone has those days.

DS is only 3 mos and there are days when I just watch the clock waiting for it to be his bedtime and hoping, hoping, hoping that he will go down without a fight and then get exasperated that I have to do it all over again the next day.

I really envy SAHM's. There is no break. There is no downtime. There is no weekends off.

but you have to remember that these days pass and you also have days when your DC is all smiles, and naps well, and eats well, and just one look is enough to melt your heart over and over again and all you want to do is hold them and kiss them and never let them go.

don't feel like a bad mom for having a rough day!! It will pass!

Yup and that's why I went back to work p/t after DS was 11 mo. old. I only work a couple of days a week but those few hours in the adult world, interracting with adults really helps keep me sane.

DS was not a difficult baby at all. He was a wonderful baby. But at one point I really felt like I was losing myself as a person if that makes sense. At first I felt guilty for working, even though it was a few hours a week, but in the long run it is good for him b/c it is better for me, KWIM?

Im having one of those days today..and yesterday...and the day before...

I call it SUMMER and all the kids are home from school..

I know the feeling too.
Pick a night Kyle is home and we will leave the kiddies with the men and go get some ice cream or coffee. I would really say a beer but cant do that until Nov.

YES! I definitely have those days, almost once a week :) It is so exhausting when it's just you and baby all day long. Even when they are being "good" it can be tough!

You described Josh at 8 months old exactly. Only slept on me or no sleep at all.

Every mealtime was a battle, frustration over cleaning a mess that went everywhere except his mouth, just living on milk all day long.

Fast forward...still rocky here and there, but he plays, he eats, when I finally get him to sleep, he sleeps...

Yup, my DD is the same age and she is up everyday at 5:30 and is a crappy napper!

Couple that with a crazy 2 year old and you bet I want to pull my hair out, A LOT! I always feel bad at the end of the day

Even tho Kris is a wondereful blessing of a baby, there are days... LIKE TODAY.... where I am right there with ya!!!

Yup, my DS is just like this. He's a happy baby overall, so I can't say he's overly difficult, but his sleep isn't so hot, and he loves, loves, loves to have me around all the time now (I keep telling myself I'll miss this when he's a teen and wants me to disappear). Which means I get no time to myself. There are days when I fantasize about just being alone.

Sounds very normal to me! Mine is 7.5 months by the way, so about the same age.

DS is a great baby, but I still had one of those days today! I couldn't wait for DH to get home so I could just get away for a little bit. I feel guilty even posting that. I guess we all feel that way sometimes.

I've been having a bunch of those days lately. The other day I said I wanted to trade him in for the model that doesn't cry...lol. Of course I was totally kidding but it's been a rough week.
