ETA: Yes, I do. I can't help it... even though she brought it on herself I still feel sorry for her that she's the laughing stock.

I feel bad for her because she has a terrible support system. I find it hard to believe that the people who are around her most (this Ally Sims chick) don't see anything wrong with her behvior or mental state. I feel like they are big time enablers who just want to benefit from her fortune.
With that said, the girls a wack-a-do and needs to stop being selfish and get help not just for herself but for her two boys... it's not fair to them and before she knows it, she won't have custody of them anymore.
In the end, I mostly feel bad for her and I think it's sad that her downward spiral is considered our entertainment.

I dont' think she brought it on herself... I think she's sick and doesn't know the difference or doesn't think there is anything wrong. That's the sad part... she needs some mental help FAST!

No. This was her fault. MTV was giving her a gift and she blew it. I mean, they were gonna get their ratings either way, but still....this is her fault. I DO feel badly for the things Silverman said about her/the kids.

no. she's no tweeny. she's an adult now AND with kids. every decision she's made always seem to end poorly. ever since she and justin broke it off everything just went completely downhill. she needs to stay out of the limelight, focus on herself and her kids. duh, right?? well, not for the brit-wit.

I do feel bad for her to some extent.. I feel like everybody is out to get her. I am sure there are some pictures of her being great with her kids and looking good but guaranteed nobody will show them at all!

Yeah, I do.
Not in the "she made one mistake & everyone's laughing at her way", but I feel bad for anyone whose life is falling apart like that.
She really wasn't ready for this attempt at a comeback--I don't knwo if that was her idea, or her label's, but she really just needs to work on her self right now.
Unfortunately, people don't always know when they need help, or do & can't bring themselves to get it.

Nope. I agree with Lanabean. MTV gave her a chance to shine. If she would have gotten her $hit together, she could have put on a great performance. As for the Silverman incident~ok it was bad, but you know what...people have said a lot worse about her. She needs to let people's comments roll off her back.

No I don't feel bad for her.
I was embarrased for her a little bit last night though.
She had a pretty good support system, but pushed them all away. Her parents tried stepping in many times, and she fought against them legally.
No matter how bad she is to her mom, I bet if Brit let her back into her life, her mom would be there for her and help her pick up the pieces. She needs some guidance and a voice of reason.
As for performing last night, I kind of feel like MTV exploited her. They had to have known she wasn't going to put on a great performance. They just used her for ratings. But hey, she could have use this opportunity to blow the audience away. Instead, it totally backfired on her.

i kinda do-- b/c i used to like her-- I just feel like she spiraled out of control and leaned on the wrong people for help--- and is now using it for publicity-- we all know in life we shouldnt air our dirty laundry--- but these celebs kinda do it on purpose!!

NO!!! She is a grown woman now with 2 kids and a resposibility to her and them. She has created this "hot mess" of a life for herself, she is the one with no panties on, she is the one getting drunk and smoking around her children. She is a pig. Her Im helpless act is crap, she is well aware of what SHE is doing, grow up be a real woman and MANUP!!! Get over yourself.

I do because I truly believe that she is sick. I don't think her actions are simply trashy, I think they're the actions of a person with untreated bipolar disorder. I just hope she gets the help she needs before she does some serious damage to herself or her children.
