Re: Do you feel bad for Brit?
I go back and forth. She has made some poor choices, but I think she has a horrendous group of people around her.
I do feel very bad for her kids because someday they are going to be old enough to use google!!!

Re: Do you feel bad for Brit?
Yes I do
I do not think she had a strong support system at all...and think she went off the deep end and i lay blame on her handlers
no one was looking out for her... how did her handlers let her go on and perform? I don't think this was her decision -- that is my opinion

Re: Do you feel bad for Brit?
didn't she fire all of her managers and handlers? or did she get new ones?
ETA: also when Larry Rudolph got her to go to rehab, she flipped and fired him. So someone tried to help, but she refused it.

No I don't feel bad for her.
I was embarrased for her a little bit last night though.
She had a pretty good support system, but pushed them all away. Her parents tried stepping in many times, and she fought against them legally.
No matter how bad she is to her mom, I bet if Brit let her back into her life, her mom would be there for her and help her pick up the pieces. She needs some guidance and a voice of reason.
As for performing last night, I kind of feel like MTV exploited her. They had to have known she wasn't going to put on a great performance. They just used her for ratings. But hey, she could have use this opportunity to blow the audience away. Instead, it totally backfired on her.
ITA!!! Well Said!!!

Re: Do you feel bad for Brit?
Defenitely and I really think it's a SHAME that people WANT to see her fail. She's human and just because she's f***ed up and made some bad choices in her life doesn't mean she should be punished for the rest of it.
Granted she should not have gone on MTV for her comeback, but she did and I'm sure she regrets it, and the media and that dumb b**ch Sarah Silverman don't help the matter any. I'd love to see how other people would handle themselves if they were in the spotlight 24/7 (by choice or not), having done things they regret or weren't proud of, and have it televised, made fun of, photographed etc... Yes she is an "adult" and should "know better", but the fact of the matter is she doesn't. Since when does an addict or disturbed person come out and admit they are suffering? Last time I checked, they don't..they require HELP of family/friends to get them the help they so desperately need... and she sure as hell is not getting it from ANYONE...let alone critics.
I think it's sickening that people can be and are being so cruel. What will it take for everyone to leave her alone? DEATH???

Im sorry I disagree. She DID have help from her family and friends, she chose to ignore it. I have issues to with certain things and you do need to fall flat on your face but you go on. She hasnt, she hasn't tried to fix herself, her daily pics show us that. She did this all alone. And yes when her family and friends were blowing threw her bank acct they should have kep her in check. But you know what she is 25 yrs old and a mom of two innocent kids that have to deal with a crazy mother. So once again she made this mess of a bed and now gets her panties in a bunch when people b!tch about it. And the sarah Silverman thing, while rude just for the fact that the kids may one day see it was 100% the TRUTH. We have all said it she just had the balls to say it out loud. JMO
ETA: and DEATH will probably make her more famous. Look at ANS

Yes...because I really think there is something chemically wrong with her.

Nope. I agree with Lanabean. MTV gave her a chance to shine. If she would have gotten her $hit together, she could have put on a great performance. As for the Silverman incident~ok it was bad, but you know what...people have said a lot worse about her. She needs to let people's comments roll off her back.

Re: Do you feel bad for Brit?
Not really.
A lot of people say she's just young and act as if that's an excuse.
She's 26 with two kids. Grow-up, get your sh!t together and act like an adult.
You aren't a kid anymore and if it's a chemical imbalance or dependency, go get help.

No one knows what goes on behind her closed doors..only what is put on display by the media for everyone to criticize...and from there we all ASSUME we know these celebrities when in fact only they know what they do/do not do.

Re: Do you feel bad for Brit?
I do and I don't
she looked confused last night- coked up
she needs help- but she has had more oppertunties to get help then most addicts- if she wanted out of the spot light- she could move out of LA- that would be a start
I was hoping she was going to pull thru last night- but I knew she couldn't do it
it's hard to transition from child star to adult star- it's practically impossible

Re: Do you feel bad for Brit?
I don't feel bad for her at all. We all choose paths in life and she chose hers. She knew this business before she opted to jump into it. I am sick and tired of celebs like Brit complaining and blaming other things than THEMSELVES for anything that is wrong in their lives. Grow up, take care of your kids, stop calling attention to yourself and you wouldn't have these problems Britney!

Re: Do you feel bad for Brit?
As a performer, I feel a little bad for her because she has no idea how much of a$$clown people think she is. As a mother, I don't have the slightest bit a sympathy. You grow up when you have kids and become less selfish, and I don't see her doing that whatsoever.

Re: Do you feel bad for Brit?
No...she has chosen this path. She has had EVERY opportunity to help herself and many others have tried to help her. She continues to ignore those that try to help and gravitate towards those that hurt. She makes these choices. Most people with issues like hers don't have the financial ability to get help, she does and ignores it.
Now she has two babies and she is going to ruin their lives mentally and physically with her actions. They are the ones I feel sorry for.
I'm honestly sick of people feeling bad for Britanny - she is now damaging other lives with her actions and that is an evil thing to do.

Re: Do you feel bad for Brit?
I feel bad for the way the paparazzi hunts her down and doesn't give her a moments rest . Honestly, I would have a breakdown too if I couldn't step foot outside without someone following me and photographing my every move. It's no wonder these celebrities turn to alcohol and drugs to escape! I can't imagine living with that kind of pressure.
Paparazzi are out of control these days, and I really think the laws need to be changed to stop it. It's a crime.

Re: Do you feel bad for Brit?
No way, she made her bed...
It is her fault that she: cheated on JT married K-Fed lip synch's because she has no talent dresses like a hooker in Hunts Point
I feel bad for her kids and I hope and pray that K-Fed or her mother step in to give them a stable home where they can prosper.

Re: Do you feel bad for Brit?
I do...i think she was young & naive and not ready to handle fame so quickly, and then she made a couple of stupid choices(marrying KF being the one major one) and then the paparazzi made her a such a target that the world is waiting every day to see what she is going to do next...this probably put her over the edge bc she was obviously too immature to handle the pressures of stardom & being in the spotlight, making her lose it completely. I do feel bad for her....and how sad that people strive on her messing up.
