Re: Do you feel comfortable traveling while pregnant?
first trimester may be rough due to morning sickness....
IMO definitely no rides, I wouldn't risk it....
if you don't have m/s, it would otherwise be great! I'm going to europe for 3 weeks this summer (end of the 2nd trimester)....

The only hesitation I would have is morning sickness/nausea and not being able to go on rides. I would check out what rides you are able to go on before you make the trip and see if you feel it's worth it. I had a friend that went when she was about 15 weeks and she was not a lot to go on rides. I'm not sure if it was all rides or just limited. So I would call or check out their website and see what they say.
well i know that some of the rides will say do not get on if you are pregnant. and i am not a ride person. pirates of the carribean is as crazy as i get.
Even small rides like that I would check with Disney and your doctor before you go on them.

I would go just take it easy!!
I went to Jamaica when I was pregnant w/Hayley, I was 12 weeks.
This time the only place I am going is to Penn State to see my sister graduate and then to my dad's in Pittsburgh for the 4th of July.

Re: Do you feel comfortable traveling while pregnant?
i flew to california at 17 1/2 weeks and came home at 18 1/2 weeks. i felt great! just make sure you drink lots of water and get an aisle seat if possible - most airlines are totally willing to accomodate you! DH and i flew on virgin america and when i asked for an aisle seat, they gave us an entire row to ourselves!
don't overdo it either - take breaks and sit and rest if you need to. the walking is good for you but you shouldn't press yourself to do more than is comfortable.
and my best friend on the trip - naps

Re: Do you feel comfortable traveling while pregnant?
I would go. I travel frequently for work and haven't had issues flying. My husband and I also took a babymoon a few weeks ago. I'm currently 27 weeks and have trips planned through the end of May.
As other posters mentioned - drink lots of water, sit on the aisle, get up and walk around as often as you can, bring lots of snacks on the trip.
Enjoy your trip - probably your last one without kids for a long time

Re: Do you feel comfortable traveling while pregnant?
I went to Disney World when I was just about 15 weeks and I went to DisneyLand when I was 23 weeks. I got a little swollen, but still had a great time. Go and enjoy yourself. And someone previously posted that you can go to member services and tell them you are pg and they will give you a pass for the front of the line. Wish I had known that. I went in Aug and heat was unbearable.

Re: Do you feel comfortable traveling while pregnant?
We went to Maui when I was about 15 weeks pregnant and it was fine. The flight was really really long though and by the end, I felt pretty bloated/swollen.
Just make sure you drink plenty of water and get up to walk around often. Have a great trip!

Re: Do you feel comfortable traveling while pregnant?
I went away and found out that week I was pregnant and I am going away and I will be 13 weeks. Go and enjoy!
Just stay hydrated and get up and walk around every 30 - 45 minutes. your estrogen levels are vey high so you have a tendency to get blood clots if stationary for too long.

Re: Do you feel comfortable traveling while pregnant?
I was on a 10 hour plane trip to and from Greece when I was 8 weeks pregnant, and then I traveled every single week for work up until week 32. I LOVED traveling and enjoyed it.
