Do you get upset if people sit on your comforter?
I was speaking to someone yesterday who said they hate and now no longer allow people to sit on her son's comforter. She feels they are covered with germs.
Thoughts?

I don't usually have conversations or entertain people in my bedroom, so that's never been an issue.

I probably wouldnt care BUT I would NEVER think to sit on someone elses comforter especially a babys comforter. Why do that?

If I have family or close friends over my house I wouldn't mind them sitting on my bed or my DD's if we are hanging out in that room.

I think so too. It's a bed..lord knows that throughout the night you drool, fart and have your punky toes all over it. Not to mention other activities occuring within the bed  What's the difference if they were on your comforter or on your couch? Assuming your guests have on underwear AND outerwear, what skivvies are going to permeate two layers of clothes to get on your bedspread?

Well I don't really have people in my bedroom, but I wouldn't mind it if people sat on the bed.
What I do hate is when I am watching house hunters or some other type of show where people are looking at houses and they lay on the bed or on the couch like its their own house.

Hmmmmm never thought of that. Don't have a problem with the just sitting. Although I did have a problem with my FIL laying on my bed(to try out the mattress) with his shoes on.
Question though... when a large amount of guests come over, do you put their coats and pocketbooks on your bed?

Well, I was thinking a babysitter reading a bedtime story or something like that & no, if I'd do it myself , I wouldn't have a problem with other people doing it.
And I sometimes have my mom or MIl or a friend in my room if we are discussing somehing involving the room, such as decorating or pickign an outfit out etc, and we'll sit on the bed. No big deal. My apartment isn't big enough to really make any rooms off limits.

anyone I wouldn't mind being in a bedroom I also wouldn't mind sitting on the bed.
People generally aren't that germy... the only time I get a little is when someone is hacking and sneezing... otherwise, no.

No one besides us is ever in our bedroom...but when I was a kid and I slept over anyone's house etc I would get skeeved and hardly sleep all nite! Even if I knew they were clean...it still wasnt my own.
