I buy organic, all natural hotdogs from Trader Joes. (my kids are 1 and 4) But sometimes they will have a "regular" one.

yes I do....I had bought Applegate Farms organic (no horomones, no nitrates, etc) at the butcher.
she's also had Hebrew Natiional. She maybe gets them 1-2 a month?

Nope. My pediatrician's comment when I asked about them was, "they are a choking hazard and devoid of nutrative value." If DH or I was eating one at a party I'd let her have a piece, but there are plenty of better things I can make for her at home.

We all eat our fair share of hot dogs in the summer. I only buy Boar's Head Lite, though.

yep - he eats them. not an everyday food because my son loves them so much he wants 3 in a sitting (no bun though). I also cut them up small and often peel them (esp at first).
