Do you have a lot of "stuff" in your house?

When we first moved into our house I obsessed with hgtv and how they accessorize with knick-knacks, candles and other "stuff". Now with the baby and his things, not only is he trying to touch everything but I feel cluttered and I just want to get rid of it all. Chat Icon Chat Icon

We just remodeled our house but as we are trying to decorate it I will not be filling it with alot of "stuff". I can not stand knick-knacks I feel they are just dust collectors and make rooms seem smaller and just filled cluttered.

Re: Do you have a lot of "stuff" in your house?

yeah, when I lived with mom, I had 'stuff' everywhere..... her house is huge, and it was only the 2 of us....

when I moved out, I obviously was forced to consolidate drastically..... I lived in a tiny tiny apt, and moved in with DH into a larger, yet still tiny apt.... we only moved into a decent-sized place now. Those 7 years of tiny homes with almost no closet space forced me to purge big time.... almost all the 'stuff' is gone Chat Icon

We have a lot of pictures...not too much knick-knacks.
My mother is a huge fan of stuff everywhere and I hate it - so I try to keep it to a minimum.

We just moved so so far nothing is really on the tables & such, but I'd like to keep it to a minimum & DH, not so much Chat Icon

Growin up I did...now we are really trying to clear out. We want our place to feel like a hotel, if that makes sense. Not a mish mosh of years past.

No. I used to but I've really simplified in the past couple years. The "stuff" just collected dust and cause me more work than pleasure, so I got rid of it or put it in storage.
