IDK what that is just yet.
I thought 128 would be "OK" esp after having kids.
Then it wasnt, seeing how diff my body looks and how its holding weight in diff areas.
So Im heading towards a new "magic" number.
Same here.
I'm 1-2lbs away from what I thought would be my ideal weight but I'm still unhappy with the way my body looks. My last pregnancy really changed my shape and the last 1-2 lbs is definitely not going to get me where I want to be.
So, now I think my ideal number is 5 lbs lower than that, but I'm not even sure at this point.

Posted by neener1211 I was referring to numbers of 120's etc...it would be incredibly unhealthy for me to weigh in that range. I'm 5'11" so that's why I said that, and I am working on being healthy. I'm proud of you ladies that work hard to get to your numbers. You look great!
There is still no way I'm sharing my number though.
I totally understand
I was just saying
You look amazing btw!

My magic number is around 98 lbs. I am only 5 ft tall and am very petite so when I head over 100 I feel a bit puffy. I was as low as 94 before our wedding and felt a little too thin at that weight. I am just returning back to around 98 now and am feeling much better!
That's my magic # too although I'm a little taller (5'3"). I've put on a few pounds that I cannot get rid of! And to think I was unhappy when I was 98!!

Re: do you have a "magic number"?
I'm 5'6", and I used to think 125 was my ideal for many years. After I had my 2nd child though, I lost a few lbs unintentionally (I think just being on the go with 2 kids all the time, instead of sitting at a desk snacking like I did pre-kids), and I find I really like 120 better.
I'm pear shaped, and I find that 5 lb difference really must settle on my hips/thighs, because I look more evenly proportioned at this slightly lower weight.

For me it is more about how healthy I am and muscle takes up less room than fat. It is really tough to stay at this weight and not lose weight, it takes careful planning of my meals and workouts. Finding a balance is a constant search.
Balance can be so diffcult! I love to work out and sometimes don't eat enough and lose weight without trying. Then I end up packing it on too quickly. I'm constantly working on finding a good balance as well. Overall, I think my number one goal is to look and feel healthy.

Re: do you have a "magic number"?
My goal is a range between 138-141. I am big chested and muscular so anything lower then that is just going to look way to skinny on me.

Re: do you have a "magic number"?
I'm 5'2 and would LOVE to be back at 108- was only that weight for a little while once in my life.
Realistically, I will be happy if I get back to 116 after this baby comes. Would be thrilled to be 113 which was where I was when I was married.

Re: do you have a "magic number"?
I am 5'7 and I weigh 118 which is a little less than I would like. 130 would be ideal for me but it's just not happening for me. My dad was tall and skinny and my aunts and cousins from my dads side are tall and skinny. I guess it's just genetics for me.

Re: do you have a "magic number"?

My magic number if I weigh myself is 5 pounds less than whatever my current weight is.
In February, I got on the scale and saw that I was 113 (after the flu - so devil wear's prada). My old magic number was 115. But when I saw 113, 108 was the new goal - which was blown away a week later because I gained plenty of weight back when I could eat again.
Never ending. It's so dumb for me to think that way.
This is my thinking too. I've had eating disorders in the past and I still have food issues, but when I got on the scale the other day and saw 112, I was secretly . It was after a day of heavy vomiting (sorry, tmi) and the next day the scale read 115, but I want the 112 back! (with my 125 boobies)
112 also marked a 20 pound loss for me (the heaviest I've been is 132,) so I was extra ecstatic.

Re: do you have a "magic number"?
I am happiest at 118-124lbs, but i haven't been close to that weight since my wedding (i was probably 126 at my wedding). Right now i'm 146 and working my way down (hopefully) before i get pregnant again. Between IVF meds and pregnancy I gained almost 55lbs

Re: do you have a "magic number"?
Kind of. I just really want to be back at my pre-pregnancy weight, which even though is considered "underweight" is even 5 lbs heavier than I was my entire life. I'm just not sure that my stomach will EVER be the same, regardless of that magic number

Re: do you have a "magic number"?
I weigh myself daily and I can't really say I have a magic number. I like the number I'm at now, 140 @ 6'1", but I'm not happy with my body. I'd be ok with the scale going up as long as my body was putting on muscle mass and getting ripped, but without increasing my measurements.

122 is my best weight.
I am not there, at all, but that's where I feel best.
