I have an Obama sticker but DH won't let me put it on the car. Not that I want to advertise my politics to my neighbors anyway.
We have one of those stick figure families in the window and also one from my college.

I have a St John's University Alumni window decal and and American flag window decal.
I have a "Support our Troops" yellow ribbon magnet and a little Italian flag reflector thing.

The only thing I have on my car is a Columbia University alumni sticker, and a shamrock on the front lower corner of my windshield.
DH has a sticker that says "I'd rather be flying" and a license plate frame that says "If I were flying my plane, I'd be there by now!"

nope... no bumper stickers. I'm actually bummed that NYS is making me stick the clean pass stickers on my prius...
But, I DO have a favorite bumper sticker.... it's about 6 years old, but still rings true IMO..

sums up my feelings completely!

i had once thought that, but recently i read somewhere that the X had some religious significance. I still prefer the word to be written out so that the word Christ stands out.
here is what I found on Wikipedia and it sounds right from what I had read once before:
The word Christmas originated as a contraction of "Christ's Mass". It is derived from the Middle English Christemasse and Old English Cristes mæsse, a phrase first recorded in 1038, compounded from Old English derivatives of the Greek christos and the Latin missa.[1] In early Greek versions of the New Testament, the letter ? (chi), is the first letter of Christ. Since the mid-16th century ?, or the similar Roman letter X, has been used as an abbreviation for Christ.[2] Hence, Xmas is often used as an abbreviation for Christmas.

i'm sorry, i misread your reply when i replied to you the first time.
No, this means keep Christ in Christmas instead of all the stupid things like Black Friday and meaningless shopping and extravagance that is not Christ-centered. Many, many people forget the true meaning of the holiday. it's gotten so secular we have non-Christians celebrating the holiday, doesn't make sense to me.
