Do you have any regrets?
I was thinking about this recently and although I think everything happens for a reason and it makes you who you are, I do have some regrets or things I wish I would have done differently. My biggest is that I wish I would have went away to college. I stayed home because my bf at the time (first love)couldn't go away. I wish I would have had that experience.

I believe everything happens for a reason. The sort of stuff I wish were different I really have/had no control over anyway so no, not really.

When I start with the feelings of regret I just try to realize how truly blessed my current life is and if I had changed any of the past my present would not be so wonderful.

I do. I wish I had been around more in the last couple of months before my grandmother died.
I do believe everything happens for a reason as well. But I have regrets as well.
But I had an experience very young that made me learn that life is amazing and sad at the same time and I just try to live my life to the fullest and try not to have regrets.

I definitely agree with this. Honestly this came from somewhere silly. I was over a friend's house the other day looking at old pictures, some from her crazy college days and we just got on the topic.

I agree that everything happens for a reason and I love my life now, so I can live with my regrets.
I wish I had gone away to college. I, too, stayed home for a bf, whom I dated for 7.5 years (so not a total waste).
I also regret allowing my father to talk me out of becoming a teacher. I majored in business instead and am still trying to "find" myself in my career. I like my job, but I know that this is not what I was meant to do.

Yes...many many things..a couple big.....but mostly small ones..but i think to have a regret on something means you learned from the situation, and at least for me it has changed the way I have conducted my life in the future...

I am who I am for the decisions that I have made...both good and bad. I wouldn't be here with DH and Isabella if these things didn't happen the way they did...so I would have to say no. Life wouldn't be life without Jay and Isabella...and that I would regret.

I knew my answer as soon as I saw the topic. I would definitely say the first guy I dated. It was traumatic to say the least and I used to wind up in tears just thinking about it.
If I EVER saw him out on the street one day...... I don't know what I would do to him....

Sure. I'd handle a few things differently and make some different decisions if I had it to do over again, but nothing that keeps me up at night. I look at it all as a learning experience.
