Do you have life insurance?
I have a free insurance policy through my job which is only 1x my salary, DH doesn't have one at all.

Yes - basic on on the job & then additional policies to cover us for the house, kids, etc.

DH does and I do not but we are working on that and upping the insurance. I used to have it through my job but for some reason when I went on DH's insurance I lost my life isurance through work. Stupid policy.

Yes, DH and I both have Life insurance policies. I'm an insurance broker...so how ccn I not have one. My daughter has life insurance too, whole life so she can use the cash when she's older on whatever she wants.

My best friends husband died with no insurance. She had two children, 6 months old and 3 and two step children who were 13 and 15. Plus a mortgage. DH and I decided that once we have children and/or own a house, we would make sure we were fully covered.
Right now, I have a small policy, basically just enough to bury me. DH has a good policy, 5x his annual salary. I keep telling him to watch himself

We met with a financial planner while I was pregnant and then made sure that we got life insurance policies and disability policies as soon as she was born

yes i have life insurance - i got it when i got sick about 6 years ago - dh doesnt have any i keep trying to convince him he needs it but so far no luck
