DS loves to do this and it highly irritates me. I really have to choose my battles so this is one that I don't fight so much. He doesn't do it AS much anymore thankfully.
Knock on wood, but he hasn't gotten hurt .

OMG I cannot believe you posted this today!
This is the worst part of my life, no joke!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next time I buy a couch, I dont care if shes 21, I am getting attached cushions. She doesnt necessarily jump on the couch..but she pushed the pillows off, climbs to the back of the couch and hangs out there. Literally, no exaggeration, I put those cushions back and tell her no at least 50 times a day!!!!!!! It stresses me out to the max!!!

Ours don't come off. If they did I'm not sure I'd be down with that. Like you I think it would be a daily ritual and I would hate that.
