Re: Do you let your dog

Bella is allowed on both, she is a non-shedder. I originally told DH I didn't want her on anything, and he kept on sneaking her up, so now I let her. She mostly likes the floor though, thank god because she is a big dog, and when she is on the bed she takes up so much room!!!

DH's dog sheds like crazy. The dog is not allowed on any furniture or beds. He has an extra large pillow in the living room that is all his. He has his own bed in the corner of our bedroom. I just think a dog in the bed is pretty gross. I try not to sit on my bed with my street clothes on, so I definitely wouldn't let the dog on it.

Neither, once you let them on, they will never get off.......

Do we let our dog on our bed and/or couch? It's more like Cooper lets us on the couch and in the bed. Chat Icon

He's allowed on both, he's small though, 16 lbs. At first, I didn't care if he was on the couch, I couldn't care less. I didn't want him in the bed though, I drew the line there, he's a dog and he has a very nice doggy bed right next to our human bed. Well, turns out Cooper is a HUGE cuddler and how can anyone resist that.... so he's in bed with us keeping us warm when it's cold and hogging the bed... all 16 lbs of him!

Yep, Snickers is our second kid. He sits on the couch with us, sleeps right under my legs every night, even sits in my lap somedays while I am on my laptop. He's a mama's boyChat Icon

Hmmm this is kind of one of my pet peeves. I think it is kind of gross to let your dogs sleep in your bed. Could be because my dogs are 85 and 110 pounds respectively but i know they MUST step in urine, dirt whatever else is outside and it is not sanitary IMO. We never let them on the furniture either. they do go in our cars but thats about it.

my mother feels the same way, and DH and i hear it from her all the time... and then DH always responds with his philosophy of "there's a thin layer of sh!t covering just about everything" - which i agree with. plus, the doggies are so snuggly to sleep with Chat Icon Chat Icon

Well I guess when you look at it that way....Chat Icon Your DH sounds funny
