Do you look at your OB differently after the birth of your children?

I went to get my staples out and I totally look at him differently now. Like he is a God or something. It is so weird.

I did after Andrew was born too but by the time the second came around it wore off

YES!!! My doctor was not on call so another doctor in the practice delivered my DS. I'm now OBSESSED with him. I loved my original doctor but I just look at the doctor who delivered my son sooo differently now so I had to switch.

Absolutely! I amlways liked him, but now I him. He is my hero!

yep! I feel like she did such a great thing for me, delivered my baby safely, I feel like she is a hero

My doctor came to the hospital from his vacation to deliver Abby via emergency c-section. He practically flew into the delivery room like superman. He is a hero so many million times over.

Totally!! I am in love with my OB!! He did an awesome job with my C-section and Emerson was born happy and healthy. I couldn't ask for a better doctor!!

Not really but sometimes I think if I ever saw him outside of the office I would run and hide!

Actually, I was a little the first time. Subsequent visits it had worn off and he was just "the doc" again.

My OB is like one of my girlfriends. She is someone I will always hold close to my heart....as odd as that sounds How can you possibly thank someone properly for delivering your miracle???

Totally! And the OB who delivered DD wasn't even my OB, or even in OB's practice (he is a friend of theirs)- and I totally was obsessed with him afterwards. I even considered changing to him- but then a friend of my mom's who is a nurse in another OB office in the same building as him told me he was really a big jerk in real life.

Definitely... but in a different way then most... i see him in absolute disgust... i didnt have a very positive l&d with him... maybe because I only saw him for the last push and I was in the hospital for 23 hours... never saw a real ob that entire time... only a med student

I Love my OB! He's an extended family friend and when ever I see him I thank him. We were at a funeral just this past weekend and dd was obsessed with his wife! So cute!

Yess! I have my annual visit next week, and I am actually looking forward to seeing him!

I definitely look at him different now. I absolutely adore him now!!!! He is the best!!!
