Do you love a restaurant in the City???
Than tell me about it!!!
We are going out tomorrow for my birthday with 2 other couples and I still have no idea where to go. This is a huge struggle for me every single year!
I need suggestions! Any cuisine will do except for sushi ( can't have it) and Mexican( not a fan).
TIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a fan of going to Dip for a "fun" dinner! It's a fondue place.

Dip is a lot of fun. If you get a dessert fondue, definitely try their Rosa Regale sparking wine. It's a sweet, sparkling red that's very tasty with chocolate.
I also love Aspen on W. 22nd Street. Great bar, great food, great atmosphere. Aspen

Re: Do you love a restaurant in the City???
love the food at carmines. it's family style italian and really good i went on a saturday around 5pm and only had to wait 20 minutes to sit. i also love puglias in little italy. the food is good and they have a guy that plays the keyboard and sings. drink enough wine and you'll be dancing on your chair with the rest of the restaurant.

Becco.
I LOVE that place. Lidia Bastinanch's restaurant (from the PBS series Lidia's Family Table). The food is amazing. AND ALL bottles of wine are from Italy and all cost only $25. ETA: the Osso Buco was THE BEST i have ever had. Also, splurge and get the pasta selection. IT is amazing too.

It's called 44&X
It's on 44th and 10th. It's American, but they have the best Mac and Cheese you will ever have. Everytime we go to the city, we go there.

I happen to love Becco as well and love the Osso Bucco. Never had a bad meal. Their hangar steak is fabulous too.

hands down...The Old Homestead. We usually go for drinks somewhere beforehand(spice market) then go to the homestead for dinner. Relaxed fun atmosphere. We always got loud.
