Do you love your vacuum? Especially those with animals and/or hardwood floors.
So the hose on my Dyson Animal broke today---not sure if it is fixable or not---it is a great vacuum but I am not sure I want to spend that much on something that only lasted me 6 years. Do you love your vacuum? I have a big yellow lab so I need something especially good with dog hair and hard wood floors. TIA!

Yes I do, and I have a mostly white cat who sheds like a beast, and hardwood floors. However... I too have a Dyson, DC-25. FWIW, I did use a BBB 20% off coupon to get it, so that's always an option!

I have the dyson canister and all wood floors with a dog that sheds like a beast. I've seen it for $349 and with a coupon that's not that bad. I love that the canister makes it easy to use under furniture and use the attachments. I also love how easy it is to clean the power nozzle if it gets clogged, I never had a vacuum that had that feature.

I have central vac, and I love it. I said if we ever move we will put it in the new house too. Its awesome.

I LOVE my Shark Navigator Lift Away. It has really strong suction and works great on carpets and hardwood/tiled floors. Plus its really light, so it's not so exhausting to push it around.

I have a Kenmore canister vac and LOVE it. I think it was less than $250.

I have a hoover windtunel and it was only in the 200-300 range. I have been using is for about 2.5 yrs and it is GREAT with pet hair. It is a canister vacuum and comes with a separate brush for hardwood floors.
Pros-
-great with pet hair and on rugs and awesome hardwood tool
-great price
Cons-the cords retraction broke and will not wind up back into the vacuum (probably flxable)
-bags need to be changed everythree months
I would buy another from BBB and just hold onto my reciept bc there customer service and exchange policy is great
