Do you organize your grocery list?
I write out my grocery list, then I re-write it in order of what aisle everything is in. I started doing this a while back because I would ALWAYS forget something! I'd get all the way down to the frozen foods section and then realize that I forgot to get something in the produce section and have to schlep all the way back over there!

Yep - I go one step further and I have it in Excel. So all I have to do is refresh each time we go shopping and print out a new list!!

No, I just keep a list. I try to organize it as I'm writing it, but otherwise, no. I do try to look online at the circular however to get the best sales!
My stepdad once made a list of what you could get in each ailse and then he copied the list. It really was very organized. Maybe I'll start again.

Mine's usually written on the back of an old envelope or store receipt!!!

I'm impressed guys. I don't usually make a list...then, I usually wind up buying a jar of mayonaise (of which there are already 2 in the refridgerator) and I always forget something.

I try but then always forget the list at home  I just got back and spent most of the time in the store going back to get stuff that I forgot.

I use a word document and separate categories such as veggies/fruit, dry goods, toiltrees, meats, frozen foods, dairy aisle, etc ...

the sad thing I I write up and very nice organized list every week...and usually forget the list on the kitchen counter along with the coupons.

I look up the circular online, print it out and circle the things I need. My coupons are in an organizer.
If I need something that is not on sale, I write it on a post it.

I sort of group things by section -- dairy together, meats together, cleaning products, etc but it's not in the same order as the aisles.

I make a list sometimes. I have a really good memory about what I need. Every now and then I forget something or buy an extra something that I think I need.
When DH goes shopping (hmm...when?) he always buys stuff we don't need.

Years ago DH wrote out his list, went to the store and wrote down the aisle number next to each item he regularly purchases. Then he typed the list on the computer in the order of the aisles. He adds items as needed. We always have one posted on the fridge and just check the items off throughout the week when we use something up. I attach coupons to the list and he takes the coupons and list to the store on Sunday morning.
It does make life a lot easier.

I do this too but the cashier seems to mess it up on me half the time when I don't bag myself.

I woudl have to do this if I went shopping. I found it so hard to find things in teh SUper Stop & SHop.
DH would alwyas yell at me for going back to an aisle because I forgot soemthing. He goes alone now & organizes it all in his head.
