Do you pee in public pools? Poll
I am at a hotel right now, and DH hates it when I go in the pool. He said kids probably pee in it all day long. I said no way, and doesn't the water turn red from that chemical?
He laughed. He swears people pee in public pools..

Nah Thats bs about the water turning red. People would say that so you wouldn't do it. I agree with your husband on this. No public pool for me.

 that's why he laughed...I really thought it turned red. It had me going for 28 years.

I think they do have a chemical that will turn red, but it is especially for that reason and it is not normal for a pool to have it.
Now that I have a little one that wears swim diapers, I realize they are useless except for holding in poop and pee goes right through them.
So I agree, public pools are full of pee.

I never have... but we were talking about this at work the other day and my cowoker - a 25 year old male - said he pees in all pools... public or in someone's backyard

I was trying to think of a scenerio where I would possibly do it, the only thing I could think of it being drunk at a swim up bar...
good point about the baby diapers..

hell no! We use the pools in my neighborhood and guess I don't think about it and always shower afterwards.

No. I dont really swim in public pools, unless you mean at hotels. (Clarification: I swim in hotel pools, but I do not pee in them!)
We had a pool growing up, and didn't pee in the pool then, so I guess I just learned to hold it or get out by the time I really had to go.

Maybe because when you're THAT loaded you have less control over functions like that? Not saying it's ok or any less gross.

No way jose!
I was at my niece and nephew's swim meet last weekend and my BIL was telling me how they had to evacuate the pool a week or so earlier because some kid pooped He said it was like the Haz Mat team was called in
