Went to school with/grew up with Moira Kelly.
So did my DH. I met her last year at an engagement party for another actor friend of theirs - Karl Makinen. He has been on NCIS and The Unit.

My cousin is a relief pitcher in MLB & has been on many teams, including the Mets. We got great seats that season!
DH went to HS with Nicole Richie's stylist (who just got fired) & the latest Bachelor.
Its funny, the entire season, DH never saw a single commercial for the Bachelor until the very last episode & called me from the gym saying he played sports with Lorenzo the Italian prince (who is from Jersey, BTW!).

my cousin is John Patitucci the famous jazz base guitar player. We dont really speak to him that much because he is famous but we have gone to a few of his shows and talked with him- he looks just like my dad.

and I havent thought about the six degrees thing yet, im sure I can come up with a few... my brother's a studio manager at a big recording studio in the city

My best friend dated Jason Mraz for a few years.
She's also really good friends with Chris Owen (Sherminator from american pie). I hung out with him a few times when I went out to CA to visit her... he's really down to earth and it's crazy how many people recognize him when he goes out!
Jason Mraz is incredibly talented...and cute!

Aside from that, the only famous people are baseball; my father played first base for the LA Dodgers...he knows lots of athletes from back in the day.

I met Chayanne in Miami on Spring Break, took pictures together. He is such a hottie and so nice.
but I have seen tons of celebrities from working in retail and now at the airport.
