No. I know who I am and what I'm about; I don't judge anyone, and I don't think anyone here really knows me....and if I said something that upset someone, that person is entitled to her opinion so whatever.

I pretty much agree with this.
I tend to stay away from some of the more controversial topics because I often think my point of view can't come across clearly in a post I am trying to write in the middle of working.
I know I am not a moron so if someone were to imply that I am one I would just say pffftt to that.

Nah, I don't really care what people here think of me - to me - this is not real life - I don't know anyone on here personally.
Plus, I don't recall ever being judgemental or biotchy to anyone on here.
I'm really just a casual poster. I post a lot - but I don't generally create topics, so I think my significance on this board is pretty insignificant!

I try not to care what people think (it's hard not to), but I do think some people are too judgemental - not just here but in life in general.
I try to live by "don't judge someone unless you have walked in their shoes."

ITA!!!! I think way too many people on this site care what other posters think.
You can never truely get to know someone on the internet. There are other things to consider like facial expressions, body language, etc. You could "like" someone on here, but then come to find out they are a complete and utter moron IRL. Don't forget, when you type up a response, you can edit it as many times as you like before you post it and make it sound just the way you want it to. But, that can also be misconstrued.

Maybe it's b/c I'm an emotional neurotic preggo, but I do seem to care. I invest a lot of my time and thoughts to the posts and if I said I didn't get upset sometimes I would be lying. It actually makes me feel a bit pathetic to admit it though...

yes. big time.
i am very opininated, brash, honest & "loud"....
but it really does matter to me what people think. not just on here but in "real life" as well.
its always been a problem of mine. DH is always saying to me "who cares what ppl think of you". i do. not sure why.
i may have a tough exterior, but i'm actually a pretty sensative person.

It depends on who it is. I've made some pretty great friends from the LIF/LIW boards so I look at the nice people as potential friends. Whether it stays online or we meet in person.
But once I write people off, any emotion associated to them & their posts is gone. Good or bad. Very seldom does someone prove me wrong once I've made that decision because I don't do this lightly.
I'm just not into wasting my time on people who aren't here to be open, honest, and get to know others.

but that is the only time I would get upset or care if someone thought negatively of me on here
