Do you replace your bottles after a certain period of time?
I've only been using the Avent bottles for about a month now. I've read that the plastic can break down. Does anyone know why this happens? Am I supposed to throw them out after 3 or 4 months and buy new ones?
I pump into Medela storage bottles. I store them in the refrigerator, but don't really use them as bottles. Do I need to replace these too after several months?

sorta. We used the 4 oz bottles until DS was 1 month old, then switched to 8 oz bottles and now we use good old fashion evenflo plastic 8 oz bottles. They are 3 for $5 at BRU. Less to clean, affordable, and very user friendly. DS loves them!! I may pick up more when I'm there next.
