Re: Do you run errands in your gym clothes?

Yes. Especially this time of year, I try to combine my errands w outdoor activity while I'm out. Sweats can be very stylish nowadays so why not? My gym time is usually evenings so not many errands after unless it's a pit stop (gas, cvs).

Wear what makes you comfortable. No one will judge you.

Yup. The grocery store is right next to the gym. I'm not driving home to go back to the same exact place 30 mins later. I see many other people from the gym at the store as well so I know I'm not alone.

Exactly. Freshen up when done, then go. No one is coming that close to you anyway. Lol

I work out really hard and get very sweaty. Only on a rare occasion if I have no other option will I run a quick errand. I wouldn't do anything beyond quickly running in and out of a store though.

Re: Do you run errands in your gym clothes?

No, but it's only because of logistics.

I go to the gym before work so I shower and get ready there.

On weekends I either work out at home or run outside, so I just shower at home when I'm done.

If I drove to a park to run, then I'd probably run errands afterward even if I was stinkin' like Abe Lincoln. I don't like people much anyway, so any reason to have them leave me alone is fine by me.

See this is me I get very sweaty and work out hard
But sometimes it would mean not being able to work out if I had to shower before going out. For example my ds has swim at 1130 and I take a 930 class at the gym. If I didn't go at 930 I wouldnt be able to go

This is me but I just don't care. I don't have time to go hime and shower first. I go to CrossFit after work, then the gym as a second job, and stop to do errands after that. I just don't care what people think. Plus, nobody ever stands too close to me in line, lol!

You're both right and I should probably just get over it. It really does hold me back a lot or makes me miss gym sessions at times. I just hate going around in a soaking wet bra and half drenched shirt. I guess I could change but I still feel/look nasty. First world problems!

I used to run errands after the gym in my gym clothes. Now I don't belong to a gym, but I still sometimes run errands in gym clothes, either before or after working out at home. I don't really workout to the point of being really sweaty though usually.

LMBO at first world problems, lol! It really is. I do look nasty out and about like that but I go to a gym kind of far from home and shop at a store not in my town so I'm just gross in front of strangers lol

Sure, why not? I don't have a choice to go to other things after exercise many times.
