Do you share your bed with your dog?
Hi all...I wanted to introduce Johnny Rotten to the board and see where he stands against fellow canines out there when it comes to sharing the bed. Now that the weather is getting cold I always find him there snuggled up in the comforter and I just don't have the heart to kick him out.
I seem to be having trouble adding a picture of Johnny. I'm going to keep trying though.

We don't sleep in the bed with Ollie but we let her on the bed in the mornings after we wake up. She humps our pillows (and us) so we don't feel comfortable having her on the bed all the time

Johnny usually sleeps in his own bed, but in the morning when I am getting ready to start my day he jumps in the bed and I let him stay there since he looks so cozy.

Ali isn't allowed in the bed....she's also a 80lb lab-beagle mix, so she's pretty big. DH can barely share the bed with me! Ali has her own little loveseat that's her "bed" in our bedroom, she'd rather be there alone anyway!

Not all night. When go to sleep she goes in her crate. For naps and watching TV in bed she snuggles with us.

Yes - Lilly sleeps in the bed with us each night. She will sleep as late as we do on the weekends (sometimes later!)
She is such a snuggler and sleeps so much better in the bed overnight than in her crate.

Us too!! I'm so glad I didn't get into the habit of letting the dog sleep in our bed. Especially since I have a baby on the way. She occasionally jumps on to the bed and lays down, but that is about it. I can't stand all the dog hair, so I keep her off. I especially don't want her annoying me when the I'm trying to feed the baby at night. SHe actually not even in our room.
Now the sofa is a different story. I have to work on that.

I love having my doggies in bed with me to snuggle next to. They hog up the bed but I don't mind usually. My DH can't say no to them but he gets annoyed he doesn't have room. Yet, just doesn't have the heart to say no.

Yes, they both sleep in bed with me..and my husband. Not all the time, but I usually have one or the other. If it's a morning where DH leaves at 4:30am for work, then both are in bed with me.

Yes, he is part of the family! But, at times he needs his space and he sleeps under the bed. DH and I hate it when he wants his own space. We try calling him to bed but he says "no Thank You" in his doggy expressions.

We do too but not really crate she has a little playpen area she sleeps in. She will go on the bed in the morning when I let her out.

Dozer doesn't go on any of our furniture - Oh except he likes to sit on my lap while I am on the computer 
Its mainly a hygeine thing. Dirty feet & butt leakage is not something I want to have on my pillow 
But we ALWAYS cuddle with him on the floor.

Pumpkin is allowed in bed with us, but not on the couch. once she's asleep there is NO budging her! Even when we get up, she stays there sleeping for a while.. takes some coaxing to get her lazy butt up!!

Hailey sleeps with us almost every night. It's not bad when she is by my feet but when I wake up in the morning with doggy feet in my face, it becomes a problem. She also has a habit of taking my space if I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Sara will only come into bed if DH is working late or leaves early in the morning. She likes her space and doesn't like to snuggle.
