Re: Do you still wash your DC's clothes separately and with mild detergent?
We use Tide Free for DD's stuff - I asked the ped about this once and she said to use it until 18 mos. I wanted to use it for everyone's but I can't let go of that laundry smell on my own stuff so DD's is done separately. Now that I'm back at work, the nanny does DD's anyway so it makes sense to keep it separate and keep using Tide Free for now.

Re: Do you still wash your DC's clothes separately and with mild detergent?
I use Seventh Gen Free & Clear on all of our stuff & Seventh Gen Baby for all DS's. I will continue using it until probably the first year and then switch to our detergent. I'm really sensitive so I won't use anything else, but I will wash his clothes separately because I find it easier to fold & put away.

We never used Dreft, always All Free and Clear. We washed DS's clothes separately for 6 months. When DD arrives we washed her clothes with DS's for about 2 months and now all our stuff gets washed together.

I wash his separately b/c it's just easier to put away. I still have dreft b/c I bought a huge thing of it but if I only have a few things, I throw his stuff in with ours but not often.
I also like the way dreft smells on him! (I've thrown in one of my shirts before. . .& all day long smelling like dreft was just to much for me to handle )

I stopped at @ 6 months when my brain said: "this is ridiculous - you only use free and clear detergent so why are you separating the clothes??"

I wash DS's clothes separeately - he is 2 1/2. We all use All Free and Clear, but we don't use dryer sheets on DS;s clothes because he has sensitvie skin, so it's easier for me to do his clothes seperately.

Re: Do you still wash your DC's clothes separately and with mild detergent?
DD is almost 4 months and I still wash her clothes seperately, in Dreft, on gentle, cold water and with an extra rinse cycle. I have started to get lazy with pre-washing her clothes though....she suddenly grew and I needed something bigger, put it on her and saw she didn't have any reactions so haven't been pre-washing since.

Re: Do you still wash your DC's clothes separately and with mild detergent?
When each of my DDs was born my MIL gave me a bottle of Dreft. So I washed their clothes separately until it was used up. Prob about 2 months or so. Now I wash everything together in whatever Free detergent is on sale when I buy it.

Re: Do you still wash your DC's clothes separately and with mild detergent?
The only reason I still separate our clothes from the kids clothes is because DS is still so young (11 weeks). Once he's around 6 months we'll probably switch back to our normal detergent for everyone.

Yes, I use dreft for her clothes and do them separately. Mainly b/c I LOVE the smell of dreft!

DS is almost 21 months and I still wash his clothing separate from ours. I also use dreft. He has extremely sensitive skin.
