No - I totally lie and say I'm not ready at all.
I don't need the added pressure from my family/his family - etc.
The only thing anyone needs to know is when I'm preggo and past my 1st trimester .......

We are not TTC yet but whenever people ask when we plan to have kids, I say, "probably next year". I will probably answer the same way when we are actually actively TTC.
I tell everyone the same thing..."maybe next year".
My sis knows the real truth though.

I do the same thing! I feign a look of incredulity & say "not for at least another year - we want to enjoy each other for a little while longer first." I don't want everybody eyeballing me expectantly all the time & asking me questions about it.

only my mom and sister know wont tell anyone else about wanting a baby or being prego till after first trimester dont want people asking million questions or talking about it

Well DH and I have decided not to tell anyone until I'm actually preggo. There are too many people in my family who have no problem sharing their thoughts on TTC

so many people have asked after the wedding, and i answer - we will see. I dont want to jinx us but at the same time i dont want to say that we dont want it.
my family and friends know. & then they say "well dont think about it"
ummm how can you NOT think about having a baby when you want one.
can someone explain that to me?
