Do you think Ava is too old for a sand and water table? Help me pick her Birthday gift.
Her 4th Birthday is on wednesday. I always wanted to get her one, but never did. Do you think she is too old now?????
It wouldn't go to waste, because Baby Brody is coming, but do you think she would still enjoy it??? The label on the box said 2-5 years.
Or, should I go in with my parents and split the cost of a bouncer???
Do you have a bouncer that you could suggest??
I know that she would love a trampoline, but DH works with Spinal Surgeons, and he says that all of the Doctors say that there are a ton of kids who get serious injuries from them every year, so that's out. I figure she could still get to jump in a bouncer, but at least it's enclosed.
What do you think???

We just got the Step Two sand & water table. I think it's very well-made. They aren't very expensive and if you look on craigslist you can probably find one second-hand for a low price.
I don't think she is too old, the kids at Ale's party seemed to enjoy it...

No, I'd definitely say she'd enjoy it. There's so many things they can dream up with it. Ava takes her play pots and pans out and makes "soup" and "cakes" out of the water and sand.

I don't think she is too old. When I tought pre-school we always had a sand or water table in the room. You can also make it more stimulating by doing different things. Maybe food color in the water, hide things in the sand that DD has to find etc. We also would occasionally fill up the table with jello or shaing cream or whatever we could think of
