I was trying on bathing suits and didn't want to throw up. Now I get home and look in my mirror and ugh! What gives?

i agree that the dressing room always makes me look better

but i figure my view of myself is probably distorted anyway (we always see the worst in ourselves) so i like to think that the dressing room mirror displays how i really look - insecurities aside

I agree. Actually i think you look like crap because of to much lighting. You look so white in the mirror and can see every inperfection.. Not going to see me in a suit this year.. . Oh well i will just have to do something about it..

I always felt that dressing rooms were the opposite, that they made you look like crap because of the poor lighting.

I think the more $$$ the product (or salon) the better you look in the mirrors. I don't know if this is a fact, but I've found this to be true when I experience it. Coincidence? Who knows...
